ENGAGE, EDUCATE, EMPOWER 2026

A Data Protection and Information Security Conference

Date: 12th February 2026

Venue: We The Curious, Bristol

our Engage, Educate, Empower conference is back!

At DPAS, our mission is to engage, educate, and empower businesses through our internationally renowned consultancy and engaging training programmes, ensuring they are well equipped to handle the world of data protection, AI, and information security.

We held our first Engage, Educate, and Empower Conference in Bristol in 2023. The feedback from attendees was incredible, they loved the networking opportunities, the engaging talks, the interactive sessions, and the welcoming atmosphere.

Following its success, we hosted another in Birmingham in 2024, returned to Bristol in 2025, and will be back in Bristol again for our 2026 conference.

Our mission is to create a space where those working in privacy and data protection can learn, connect, and grow in confidence. Too often, professionals in these roles are isolated from the wider business, which can feel both challenging and lonely. By providing an environment where peers can share knowledge, support one another, and exchange experiences, we help them to thrive. We believe strongly that together, we are stronger.

This free event is open to DPOs and privacy professionals from all sectors, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity. Each year, attendees leave feeling more empowered, better informed, and part of a supportive community.

After the success of our previous events, we’re ready to deliver another year of insightful discussions, expert panels, and networking opportunities. In 2026, we aim to raise the bar even higher, with fresh topics and leading voices in the data protection world, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Feedback from previous attendees

Our past conferences received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, being praised for delivering a variety of relevant and interesting topics through inspiring and knowledgeable speakers, whilst creating an overall welcoming and inclusive atmosphere…

This conference was genuinely one of the most valuable I’ve attended. The speakers were knowledgeable and engaging, sharing practical insights on GDPR, compliance challenges, and data security. Every session offered something useful, whether it was a fresh perspective on regulations or real-world strategies I can apply straight away.

Johannah, Edgecumbe Consulting Group Limited

Vast range of data protection topics with clear experts in their fields. Some tougher and less thought about questions and topics were covered which I found useful.

Josh, Thames Valley Air Ambulance

This was a great event. The diverse range of topics and speakers made it interesting. The atmosphere was very positive, less formal than some conferences and I think that lead to greater interactions between speakers and the audience.

Jackie, Dyfed Powys Police
