Ensure Compliance
with our
Outsourced DPO services

We understand the crucial role that data plays in today’s digital age, and we’re here to simplify the complex world of data protection for your organisation.

Our outsourced DPO service is not just about compliance; it’s about providing a holistic approach to data protection, ensuring that your organisation not only meets legal obligations, but also fosters a culture of data privacy and security. We’re dedicated to working with you every step of the way, ensuring you understand and utilise the full potential of our services.

The DPO’s role is enshrined within the law, and thus has specific responsibilities. We have honed the service to ensure that we can deliver not only what the law dictates, but a valuable and effective service that can enhance your compliance, culture, and wider needs.

Your DPAS DPO will provide support off-site and on-site (when required) to deliver the required role as dictated in the EU-GDPR, UK-GDPR, and Data Protection Act 2018. We will be registered with the ICO as the current Data Protection Officer for your organisation.

Your DPAS DPO will be independent from your organisation, an expert in data protection, adequately resourced, and will report to the highest management level.

Your DPO can advise and challenge data protection processes and practices in an independent manner. The DPO will advise on risks relating to DPIAs and processing activities, and act as a contact point for the ICO and for data subjects. We will appoint you a DPO and deputy DPO, ensuring the service is available 5 days a week. Your organisation will also be provided with an emergency data breach line, available 24/7.

Your DPO will work with you to promote a data safe culture, can provide mentoring and skills transfer to employees and will engage with employees to ensure they understand what is required of them.

Outsourced or Interim Data Protection Officer Project

Bristol Airport approached DPAS several years ago, looking for data protection officer outsourced support.

They wanted advice of projects across the airport, and support assiting the in-house team in responding to complex enquiries. DPAS has been providing DPO services since, providing support remotely, to ensure the airport maintains its consistent compliance.

They have been instrumental in providing services helping us to deliver transformative projects across our airport, legal support, with an ethical and pragmatic twist.

Hiring a full-time DPO can be expensive, especially for smaller businesses that may not have the resources to support a full-time staff member. By outsourcing your DPO, it can result in significant cost savings for your organisation.

When you outsource your DPO, you gain access to a team of expert data protection consultants who have specialised knowledge and experience in related legislation. This can help ensure that your organisation is complying with all relevant data protection regulations and best practices, and aid in developing staff internally.

Outsourcing your DPO provides you with greater flexibility to scale up, or down, as needed. You can adjust the level of support you receive based on your organisation’s needs, which can be especially valuable during times of growth or change.

Data protection regulations are constantly changing and evolving. When you outsource your DPO, you can rely on the expertise of your service provider to stay up-to-date on the latest regulations and ensure that your organisation is compliant.

Outsourcing your DPO allows you to focus on your core business activities, whilst leaving the management of data protection to the experts. This can help improve overall efficiency and productivity within your organisation.

By outsourcing, you are assured that your DPO will not be subject to internal conflicting decision-making, and will balance the rights of the data subject with the business objectives in an independent manner.

Easy to understand data privacy and information security services that are always accessable, consistenty pragmatic and continually exceeding expectations.

Keeping up to date with changes in data protection regulations, and best practices, can often be challenging for organisations. By outsourcing to an expert consultancy like us, organisations can access data protection professionals who stay current with the latest developments, meaning your Data Protection Officer is always up-to-date on latest guidance, and changes in legislation.

We are extremely competitive, and our work consistently exceeds our customers’ expectations. Instead of hiring and maintaining an in-house team or seeking external legal advice, we’ll work closely with you to develop a customised plan that meets your specific needs, and budget.

Outsourcing allows your organisation to scale up requirements as needed, without the commitment of a full-time, or part-time, employee. We have the capacity and capability to hit the ground running and support your organisation whenever you need it, so you can focus on your core business activities — whilst we ensure that your data protection requirements are being met.

We work with you to identify any potential threats and take steps to mitigate them, reducing the risk of reputational damage and compliance fines. With our up-to-date knowledge on current issues facing data protection and information security we can take proactive measures to safeguard your data.

We have a wealth of experience providing a Data Protection Officer, to public, private, and third sectors. Spanning several years, DPAS has supported numerous organisations with a more hands-on approach. We understand that each organisation faces its own challenges, and always provide tailored solutions to meet your specific requirements.

Entrusting the DPO role to a competent professional provides you with peace of mind. You can rest assured that your organisation’s data is being managed by someone with the necessary expertise, allowing you to focus on other critical aspects of your business.
