Our service offering is ad-hoc. You can use the service as, and when, you require that extra confidence in releasing personal data via a Subject Access Request response. DPAS will review any redaction work, provide an assessment of your organisation’s completed documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws. We will provide you with an evaluation of the documents, and provide expert advice on any amendments, if necessary.

1. Why would we want to outsource Subject Access Requests?
When responding to SARs, at DPAS we understand that the number of things to consider can be overwhelming. You can be confident in the final documentation, knowing it has been reviewed by industry experts.
2. How much does it cost?
Prices start from £200 per day.
3. How does it work?
When using the quality assurance service, DPAS will review your SAR response redactions, and provide you with an evaluation of the work, and any remedial advice. Therefore, we would require a copy of the documentation that you have prepared for redaction. A member of our SAR team will then review this documentation for you. The team will be looking for a variety of key indicators, such as, whether all third-party data has been redacted, are the redactions consistent, and why any exemptions have been applied. After completing the review, DPAS will provide an assessment of your redacted documents, offering advice on amendments or remedial action if necessary. DPAS can provide a variety of bespoke services, that are tailored to your organisation’s needs, from responding to requestor’s emails, to full end-to-end redaction services.
4. How many pages can you redact a day?
We maintain a redaction speed of between 250 – 500 pages per day. This is depending on the content of the files, and the volume of redaction needed per document.
5. Are your team qualified?
Our team undertake our Internal SAR training, which is a CPD accredited course. They also hold the BCS Foundation Certificate in Data Protection as a minimum.
