The Challenge
TMS approached DPAS when they wanted to ensure that they were adhering to data protection compliance. DPAS completed a compliance project for the organisation which included an initial benchmarking exercise, completing a Record of Processing Activities, updating policies and procedures, giving advice and guidance and providing staff with data protection training.
Outcome
Working with the business, DPAS was able to quickly, and with minimal disruption to the team, create a set of data protection and information security policies and procedures, enabling the organisation to comply with the legislation. DPAS supported the organisation to embed these policies into business as usual, engaging with staff to ensure that all data processed was secure and information security was strong.
The project helped raise awareness of data protection and the importance of compliance with all the key stakeholders.
