in Data Protection

with the ai for data protection practitioners Course

Do you want to understand the basics of AI and machine learning? Are you unsure about how humans and machines can work together, and concerned about the risks?

If so, then take this course.

Our bespoke ‘AI for Data Protection Practitioners’ course has been designed based on the British Computer Society (BCS: the Institute of IT) Essentials of AI training with the addition of core data protection modules. The course can be tailored to meet your needs and can be delivered at any time, in a variety of formats. The course structure is flexible, but as a minimum, students should have at least 16 hours face-to-face tutor led teaching, with additional student research, group and self-learning. This is developed through hybrid teaching, group work and research.

The course can be delivered face-to-face, virtually, or hybrid – depending on your organisation’s requirements.  Our course tutor, Nigel Gooding, a qualified university lecturer, will amend the learning to suit the student’s and client’s needs.

Nigel is an experienced data protection professional, a DPO to many national and international organisations, and an experienced tutor – having trained hundreds of data protection professionals.  Nigel holds a Master of Laws in Information Rights Law and Practice, a Postgraduate Diploma and Certificate in Data Protection and Information Governance, and is a qualified teacher of adults.  Nigel also holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education. Nigel also holds IAPP membership, an IAPP CIPP/E certification and is a BCS Data Protection Practitioner.  Nigel is also a fellow of the Institute of IT and a graduate of Oxford Said Business School Artificial Intelligence programme.
