OVERVIEW

The Data Protection Training by Design course is an industry recognised course. It provides a detailed insight into when Data Impact Assessments (DPIAs) are required, how to complete one, and how to recognise the risks associated. By attending and passing this course you will have a recognised, accredited qualification in DPIAsThe course will enhance your knowledge of data privacy, DPIAs and the regulations which will enable you to make a positive step towards delivering compliance.

The purpose of the DPIA training course is to ensure delegates understand when to undertake a DPIA, why it is important, how to analyse risks associated with new projects and more. Delegates will understand the role the DPO plays when dealing with DPIAs, how to provide risk assurance and how to implement change.

The course takes around 6 hours to complete, but we remain flexible on timing as often we will discuss practical applications to develop understanding. The course includes a 1-hour exam containing 20 multiple choice questions and a 65% pass mark. After successful completion of the exam the candidate is awarded the Data Protection by Design certificate, accredited by the CDP Certification Service.
